My Group Project- A great learning experience!

For the final assignment of this summer intensive, we were devided into group of four people. Each group was supposed to give a presentation for about 30 minutes. We had the freedom to choose the topics for our presentation.
I had, in my goup, Lisa, Andrea and Bomi. Working with them was an enriching experience. There was a lot of exchange of ideas and information which we used in our group project. Our background, culture is also apparent in our individual work/page. We chose a specific theme to work on. India, Spain, Korea and Hawaii were the four different regions we devided our group project into (showing our own roots). It was an interesting process as we were not only learning the use of technology (linking various pages to our page, easy links between our individual pages, taking information from websites and using them in our own page/project, copying 'source' from other sites etc.), but as we were working together, we were also knowing more about each others culture, which was really enriching.
I am happy to work with such talented people-future arts teachers! I truly hope to have more such interactions that will bring us together, on a deeper level to serve the community in our own creative ways.

It was definitely a positive experience to collaborate in the group project. The fact that we were able to help each other and learn from each other was a bonus. I learned so much from each member of the group.

Your work has been impressive. It is wonderful to find a performer who is also deeply conscious of process and sharing, understanding that the distinctive and defining characteristics of your art and your commitment to your art provide a deep and lasting effect on all arts. One characteristic of art is that it absorbs the energy and psyche of its time and is transformed by the new artists. Thus we are always at the point of discovery. Your work has certainly demonstrated this and was also born out in the group project as well.
