Let's join the bandwagon

I am sure there are many people who are already writing on and about Indian classical music. Mine is yet another effort to join the gang and stay connected with like minded people around the world! I am sure it's going to be a terrific experience with the use of fast, advanced and truly amazing tech resources!

I should be honest- although I knew about "blogging" since long time but never thought of starting or having one. I am starting it as an assignment that was given to us in a class called "Tech resources in performing arts education". So I am guessing I will be talking more of the tech stuff than music in my initial posts and I hope I will make sense too!!!). :)

Hi there!
Gr8 2 have a like minded person in our midst! Though I am not well versed in the technicalities of Hindustani shastriya sangeet, I enjoy listening to it always-whether vocal or instrumental. How about you? Do you play some instrument or do you sing? I am also very keenly interested by the use of classical music in our film music. Here's good luck 2 u . HAPPY BLOGGING! One word of caution - please go to your settings and turn on WORD VERIFICATION.

You certainly can explore hindustani classical music from the standpoint of this class. You would simply (for now) place your comments in the context of the implications of technology and consider the educational challenges of sharing this very important music with others who know next to nothing about the traditions and the repertoire. I would suggest that you activate the title and link fields in your template.
